[ It's the feel of Ja'far's leg sliding around his own that jolts Sinbad back to a little clarity.

Nipping lightly at Ja'far's lips, he pulls back just enough to scoop his lover up in his arms and start carrying him back towards his own bedroom. ]

We're not doing this on the kitchen counter, the first time since you're back.

( Ja'far squawks in surprise, wrapping his arms around Sinbad easily and automatically, huffing as he's carted away. )

Didn't stop you from making me come with your hand in the kitchen the first time we were here. Or having me against this counter when you showed me this penthouse to begin with.

( Ja'far blinks, then smiles, kissing the edge of his lips, and then fully, sweet and sensual. )

[ Sinbad just smiles and kisses him again as he carries him into the bedroom and over to the bed, leaning down to lay him out on the mattress, still kissing him deeply as he does so, not wanting to pull away for even a moment. ]

( Ja'far smiles into the kiss, feeling the same. He wants to wrap himself up in Sinbad, to stay near him always again. Not to lose him.

He lets himself be gently laid down, wrapping his legs around Sinbad's middle before he can get away, grinding upwards teasingly, slowly. He wants this, but it doesn't have to be quick or fast. He wants to take his time, to draw Sinbad in, have him as he hasn't for years now. )

I MEAN would you have preferred him to throw him on the bed and turned this into a bodice ripper???

[ Sinbad is more than happy to oblige, pressing one knee onto the bed to brace himself as he continues kissing Ja'far deeply, one hand sliding up and down his side in an almost absent caress as he just soaks in this moment of closeness and intimacy, perfectly content. ]

( Ja'far does as well, kissing him back until he can't anymore, pulling away to take a deep breath, cupping Sinbad's face and touching their foreheads together. His heart is swelling, feeling at peace for the first time in so, so long. )

I love you. ( He kisses him again, sliding a hand up Sinbad's side in return. )

[ He lets a hand slide to cup against Ja'far's cheek as he pulls back just enough to see his face, forehead resting against his lover's. ]

( Ja'far smiles, feeling his heart thump in his chest, feeling that slight hint of sorrow in the love that's growing inside of him. But he doesn't regret it, or this, or anything about Sinbad. He just loves him.

Instead of talking more he kisses him again, and again, and again, each one deeper than the last. )
