[ A nervous ruffling of his wings can be heard. ]

I... could you... try to do that, with me? I would not ask many others. I could not... trust many others. I do not take being... bound very well. It brings up painful memories for me, but I -

I do want to get past that fear of mine. And... I do like it, when I'm not scared. When I'm simply testing out or... learning knots on my own, I can handle it quite handedly, it's simply that... with others, it's... [ He exhales, exasperated at himself, knowing he's rambling and going everywhere. ]

I can't quite do it with others without feeling a sense of panic. During Tumenalia, I was a bit blindsided by being tied up and I didn't quite realize it until later how terrified I had been underneath my... urges. I've - tried! I've tried, since then, but I can't push it away, and I want to, so I... ah. I simply wanted to know if you would be... available. You needn't do much. I could teach you the knots myself and I have quite a lot of equipment on my own...

[ His voice gets softer and quieter as he speaks, hesitant and shy by the time Aspen actually trails off into silence. ]

[ Sinbad lets him talk, lets the words spill out as Aspen paints the picture fairly clearly and the king spends as much time listening to what Aspen doesn't say as he what he does.

When his voice finally trails off, Sinbad clears his throat quietly, needing a moment, but he answers with a serious tone, soft with emotion. ]

Aspen, I would love to try just about anything with you. That you would ask to face a fear such as this with me is an honor. You can show me what you're comfortable and we'll take it from there. Bring whatever you like, I'll be here.

[terraria]

I... would prefer to do it in my suite.

[ It's not that he doesn't trust Ja'far or Masrur, but... this is something he'd be too terrified to do with more than one person. It brought back panic just thinking about it. He swallows hard, and audibly. ]

You'd truly be alright with it...? When should - when is a good time?

[worldinnovator]

Of course. I'll come to you, then.

And yes, Aspen. I'm more than alright with it. When do you want me to come? Name a time and I'll be there.

[terraria]

You have a job, Sinbad! You can't simply let me pick a time...

I'm available through the week, I don't have another part lined up yet. Tell me your least busy day and that can be when we'll meet.

[worldinnovator]

And I can schedule my meetings around it. This? Is more important to me.

But most of the next two days are free and available if that makes you feel better. Would you prefer one over the other?

[terraria]

It shouldn't be. I thought you were insisting on finding a new house?

[ A pause; ]

Tomorrow... would be fine. I fear I'll lose my nerve.

[worldinnovator]

And I've been shopping for one, as well. Although I might have found one. If you can clear some time at the end of the week, I might ask you to swing by with me and take a look?

Tomorrow will be fine, love. Would you prefer me early in the day or later in the evening?

That - [ Exasperation seeps into his tone. He didn't bring it up for this!! ] ... yes, I can manage it.

I'd prefer if you arrived past noon... perhaps at 1.

[worldinnovator]

[ Sinbad bites back a laugh at the exasperation he can hear in Aspen's tone. ]

We can talk about that later. This is the focus for now, after all. I'll come over tomorrow at 1, alright? Would you like me to bring anything else?

[terraria]

Ah? You can, if you please. I have an open mind when it comes to the bedroom, so if you would like to bring something that would please you, I wouldn't be against it. I have nothing to ask for, however. I already have a collection for myself.

[worldinnovator]

I'll keep that in mind. [ Is that amusement? Probably. ] I will see you tomorrow, then, Aspen.

[ What did you expect he's a courtesan - but Aspen lets out an affirmative noise. ]

Tomorrow, then.

[ It's a surprisingly dreary day - raining hard, and showing no signs of stopping. Aspen had intended on a bit of running but that was out when the weather was this bad. At least it was a perfect sort of night to stay in...

Given Sinbad had been particularly pouty about his lack of lingerie fashion show, Aspen decided to wear his best set: a deep violet set of lace lingerie and sheer silk that matched his eyes in color, thigh highs coming up to mid-thigh and silk draped down his rib to his hips, further emphasizing the sensuous curves of his body. He rubbed at a wing, the change in atmosphere aching at some of his wounds, waiting for Sinbad to let himself in - he gave him a key, after all - or for him to politely knock. ]

[ Sinbad does knock, if only because he's carefully holding an armful of flowers when Aspen comes to open the door.

Holding them out with a wink for the other Dominant when the door opens, there's a cluster of lilies and iris and hydrangea, with tiny bursts of babies breath and lily of the valley in a blend of blues, violets and whites. ]

...Alright so I might have gone a little bit overboard, but they were all pretty and I couldn't decide.

[ He's usually hard to make blush when in sexual situations but somehow, presenting flowers has him pink. He takes the bouquet, looking a little embarrassed all the same. ]

It's beautiful... you didn't need to. Though I am thankful.

[ He gives them a light sniff as he steps aside to let Sin in, long ponytailed hair swinging behind him. Thankfully, it looks like Aspen does keep himself busy aside from his theater work, given by the vases and the flower arrangements he has sitting on the kitchen counter. He takes one vase aside to put the bouquet in, placing it on the table. ]

I'm not sure you're rewarding me for a performance I've yet to give or not...

[worldinnovator]

Neither.

[ Sinbad lets him take the flowers and move to put them in a vase - taking advantage of getting to drink in the sight of him in the sheer little outfit he wears when he walks away. But as Aspen sets the vase on the table, he wraps arms around him from behind, drawing him back against his chest as he bends to press a kiss to his shoulder. ]

I merely saw them the other day on my way home and they reminded me of you. It made me smile, and I hoped they would do the same for you.

[terraria]

[ Aspen tenses just a bit in surprise as he feels Sinbad behind him, leaning into his arms as his wings flutter beside him, a flash of goosebumps running up his bare shoulder. ]

They did. [ He feels so warm in this moment, and his heart feels like it's going to beat right out of his chest. He nudges him slightly, carefully turning around in his grasp to get onto his tiptoes and kiss his cheek, one hand lingering on his shoulder as the other strokes against his neck. ]

I hope what I'm wearing makes up for all the times I've alluded to dressing up for your generals but didn't dress up for you.

[worldinnovator]

Mmm. It's certainly a start. Let me see it?

[ He asks this with a smile as he takes a step back in order to drink in the sight of what Aspen is wearing.

He gives a low whistle of admiration. ]

You're so beautiful, Aspen.

[terraria]

[ Aspen chuckles, slowly striding forwards, though he doesn't get onto his tiptoes this time. He does, however, reach out and take Sinbad's hand, gently kissing his palm. ]

Thank you.

[ He steps closer, reorienting that hand to the curve of his waist. There's a slight tremor in his hand, unusual in this situation. ]

I do try.

As if you'd even need to.

[ Sinbad murmurs this in appreciation, his eyes one Aspen's face as he steps in close once more. Sinbad lets a single fingertip trail down along the dancer's shoulder, tracing the line of lingerie there against pale skin.

He doesn't miss that tremor, either. He doesn't think it's from the cold. ]

Nervous?

[ Gently; ]

I like to exceed expectations.

[ ... but his face can't pause in coloring as he looks to the side, awkward and anxious. The tremor is in his wing too, notable as he stands as still as he is now. Aspen debates on lying before he nods, his movements slow. ]

... I know I should not be, because it's you.

Fear is not always something you can argue away with logic and common sense.

[ Sinbad's voice is soft as he smooths a hand along one of those trembling wings. His gaze is intent as he studies Aspen for a moment before giving him a nudge towards the bedroom. ]

Come on. Let's go get comfortable first and then we can discuss how we want to do this.

[ Even if Aspen knows Sinbad's right, he doesn't want to readily admit it. He doesn't - he leads instead, past all his painted walls to his bedroom. There's a darker shade of blue here, like the nighttime sky freckled with stars - his bed isn't made, or rather, it's purposely a little messy to fit the definition of a nest, sheets overlapping with each other and tucked in with many pillows dotting it. It is, at least, very plush and comfortable to sit in.
Aspen himself perches at the edge, tugging on Sin to join him.

There is a large compartment that slides under the bed, open and available to be seen: it's the collection Aspen spoke about before clearly, with all kinds of toys and tools for sex. ]

I'm always comfortable with you.

[ You were shaking a second ago but okay. ]

[ Sinbad's aware that had less to do with him and more about the contents of what tonight would hold.

He lets himself be tugged close, although instead of sitting next to Aspen for the moment, he crouches down beside the open compartment instead. Giving a low whistle of admiration, he lets his gaze skim over the contents within, impressed. ]

Remind me to take you with me next time I go shopping so I can start putting together one of these...

It's hardly even done. There's quite a lot I want to try.

[ It's clear most things have been used - the ones that haven't are still in their packages, while the ones that have may be a little worn, but are otherwise sparkling clean. Going by just what's been worn the most, it seems Aspen's quite fond of the prostate massager and some bottles of various warming lubrications.

The only silk rope (there's four, in different colors) that isn't tied with a rubber band and with the store tag still on it is a set of dusk-red rope that, while loose, seems to have been used only once or twice. It still shows the tell-tale bend of a rope that was recently unpackaged. ]
